WELCOME to the Zambia Institute of Animal Health website.
ZIAH is a public institution under the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock. ZIAH offers two year certificate programmes for Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Laboratory Technicians and a three year diploma programme in Animal Health and Productions. The Institute also offers tailor-made short courses for farmers and community livestock workers. Our programmes are practical oriented making ZIAH a top Institution in training Animal Health and Production in Zambia. Vice Principal's Office

The Vice Principal’s office heads the Academic Section. Its main mandate is to co-ordinate academic activities. These include;

• Ensuring that student’s training needs are mate
• Spearheading/Conducting review and development of curricular
• Spearheading/Conducting research
• Ensuring that the quality of our graduates satisfy the needs of the Teaching sector in terms of service provision
• Collaborating with other stakeholders in the education sector

Registrar's Office

The registra's office manages timely enrolment of students in order to facilitate the availability of course participants. Good health is a mandate for students at the college. Healthy students provide good skilled man power for the nation hence the office ensures quick response to health matters and keeps an open door policy to give Individual attention to students at different levels so that their stay at campus is memorable. A full team of administrative and academic staff are ready to attend to students needs at all times.
